Quarries of the Third Doctor Era
An anon reminded me about one of Doctor Who’s most infamous incidences of “unusual materials used as props,” the maggots from “The Green Death.” For close up shots where the creature’s teeth/jaws needed to be seen, the maggot props were augmented with fox (possibly rat) skulls. For far away shots where a large number of maggots needed to be shown, the maggots were made from inflated condoms.
